This opportunity
The MPN (Mobile Private Networks) Sales Specialist Role is an an overlay role and will identify, sell and maintain sales relationships within customer accounts across the Enterprise & Government segment. They develop and implement sales plans that solve customer problems and grow our MPN and associated ecosystem portfolio.
Responsibilities
Build and deliver an internal and external thought leadership program to enhance awareness of TPG Telecom's MPN and associated eco system solutions
Assist in delivering upskill campaigns to the wider TPG Telecom sales force to enable the team to improve opportunity discovery and qualification
Lead negotiations and overcome objections for deal closure
Manage complex sales cycles and multiple engagements simultaneously
Work with sales consultants to discover, identify and meet customer requirements
Identify market opportunities and work with our product and partner teams to drive product enhancements
Achieve key monthly, quarterly and annual new business sales objectives within the allocated portfolio
Maintain up to date and accurate customer contact, pipeline and any other required information in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, i.e. Salesforce.
Attend weekly sales team meetings to:
Review quality and accuracy of Salesforce pipeline
Review week on week sales activity and key pipeline movements
Agree kick off and approach to any upcoming tenders and opportunities
Review status of all active tenders
Review short- and long-term Customer relationship quality and key relationship development activities
Review open customer issues, actively assisting in resolutions and ensuring timely escalation (eg to Sales Leadership) wherever required
Knowledge and experience
3+ years of experience with MPN business solutions to large enterprise customers
3+ years experience with MPN and associated applications and devices specifically in the Mining, Energy, Transport and Manufacturing industries.
Thorough understanding of customer operational requirements and environments and impact on their communication requirements specifically in the Mining and Energy Sectors.
Highly experienced in using a "business solutions" type approach, utilising TPG's product and services to identify customer needs and sell into applicable market sectors.
Ability to proactively identify and create new business growth opportunities.
Proven cultivator and 'closer' of sales opportunities at the Enterprise organisation level
Excellent presentation skills.
