Motorcycle Mechanic

Job Type: Permanent position | Full time position Job DescriptionEagle Power Sports are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Motorcycle Mechanic to join their team in Tamworth NSW 2340. The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:Dismantle engines and repair or replace defective parts, such as magnetos, carburetors, and generatorsRemove cylinder heads, grind valves, and scrape off carbon, and replace defective valves, pistons, cylinders and rings, using hand tools and power toolsRepair or replace other parts, such as headlights, horns, handlebar controls, gasoline and oil tanks, starters and mufflersRepair and adjust motorcycle subassemblies such as forks, transmissions, brakes, and drive chains, according to specificationsReplace defective parts, using hand tools, arbor presses, flexible power presses, or power toolsReassemble and test subassembly unitsDisassemble subassembly units and examine condition, movement or alignment of parts visually or using gaugesSkills and Abilities:Certificate III in Motorcycle Mechanical Technology or equivalentIdeally have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Motorcycle MechanicThe ability to work in a team environmentSalary range is $70,000-$85,000pa commensurate with experience Fulltime Position available Applications open 29th of October 2024 and closes on 29th November of 2024.
