Our commitment is rooted in the Australian mateship culture, focusing on building trust and providing customers with fuel-efficient, high-quality vehicles at competitive fixed prices, available 7 days a week.POSITION SUMMARYWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Motor Mechanic to join our team at our Woodridge branch. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring high-quality workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESVehicle Diagnostics & Repair: Diagnose mechanical issues using computerized testing equipment and service manuals. Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other components for inspection and repair. Repair and replace worn and defective parts, ensuring all repairs meet industry standards.Routine Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrication, engine tune-ups, and brake inspections. Ensure all maintenance services comply with pollution regulations and manufacturer specifications.Assembly & Testing: Reassemble engines and mechanical components following repairs. Test and adjust mechanical parts to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Conduct final inspections and road tests to confirm proper functioning and safety.Compliance & Certification: Inspect vehicles for compliance with roadworthiness standards. Issue roadworthiness certificates or provide detailed reports on work required for compliance.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSAustralian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent automotive qualification).1 year of experience as a Motor Mechanic, with hands-on skills in vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, and steering mechanisms.Ability to use computerized diagnostic tools and read service manuals effectively.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, maintaining a positive and customer-focused attitude.HOW TO APPLY:Please apply with your resume via the online portal.
