About the Role – Motor Mechanic Are you an experienced Motor Mechanic with 2 years plus experience? Looking for a great opportunity and above award salary. Then come and join the team at JAX Tyres & Auto Orange In this role, you would be working in a clean and tidy workshop alongside the team and also some customer contact regarding their vehicle, with good old fashion customer service.
Your day-to-day tasks would include. Repairing and maintaining customer vehicles Carrying out registration checks Identifying mechanical faults as well as issues with vehicle stability and tyre wear Fitting, rotating and servicing tyres. Providing advice and reporting potentially dangerous risks found on customer vehicles. Safely operating hoists Conducting road tests as required About you MUST be qualified motor mechanic. 2 or more years' experience as a qualified motor mechanic RMS AIA qualification or willing to obtain one. Excellent communication, time-management and problem-solving skills Be physically fit and able to carry out day-to-day tasks. Knowledge of WHS Experience working on various brands/models of vehicles. Available to work Saturday (Overtime). MUST have current Australian driver's license. What we offer: Salary $65K - $75K Well established and friendly positive team. Uniforms provided.
