Tasks & Responsibilities: To carry out all work to the highest possible standard.Train and mentor Apprentices allocated to work with you and report to the Service Manager any areas needing additional training.Report any dangerous or abnormal condition evident on a vehicle.Advise the Service Manager of any additional work required, supported by parts prices and labor time.Record all work performed in the appropriate place on the repair order.Maximize opportunities to obtain extra retail work, considering the customer's best interest.Attend training as requested by Three Point Services and Sales Pty Ltd.Stay informed of the latest product developments and service techniques for vehicles, including attending electronic fault diagnosis workshops when required.Work towards meeting and improving standard times.Work as part of a team and submit suggestions for improvement.Ensure that the workshop area, tools, and equipment are kept clean and maintained to a high standard.Report any damaged work tools/equipment to the workshop foreman.Use seat covers, floor mats, and protective materials on vehicles at all times.Return all special tools to the appropriate storage area after use.Cooperate and coordinate with all staff members.Familiarize yourself with, understand, and adhere to all company policies and procedures at all times.Ensure all Workplace Health & Safety procedures are adhered to at all times.Hold a current and valid driver's license and inform the General Manager immediately if you lose or have your license suspended.Maintain professional presentation and conduct at all times.Have proficient knowledge of diagnostic equipment, particularly Mercedes-Benz Star Diagnosis, Autologic, and Autel scanning equipment.Ability to dismantle, inspect, and reassemble (partially or fully) both diesel and petrol engines.Ability to perform regular log book servicing, including lubrication and maintenance services.Possess or have the ability to obtain a Roadworthiness Inspector's license.Ability to attend vehicle breakdowns as required.Qualification & Experience: Trade Certification as specified - Minimum Certificate III in Light Vehicle Automotive.Two years' work experience.Current Driver's License.Tools of Trade.About CompanyThree Point Classic is a fully independent company specializing in the repair and servicing of European vehicles, operating from three locations in South East Queensland.
Salary: $73,500 - $80,000
