Job Description: INDAUS AUTOMOTIVE is seeking a skilled and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team at our Darra location. We are committed to providing top-quality automotive services and repairs with a strong focus on reliability and customer satisfaction. As a Motor Mechanic, you will play an essential role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.
Roles and Responsibilities: Staying updated with advancements in automotive technology and repair techniques to improve service quality.Examine critical safety components like brakes, steering, and suspension systems to ensure reliable operation.Carry out regular maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid checks, and filter replacements to prevent wear and enhance vehicle performance.Documenting work performed, including parts replaced and repairs completed, for record-keeping purposes.Identifying and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues in engines, transmissions, and other vehicle components.Repairing or replacing faulty parts such as bearings, gears, clutches, and braking systems. Precisely reassemble engines and other components after repairs, ensuring all parts are correctly fitted and aligned.Keep logs on work and issues and ensure vehicles are in roadworthy order.Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.Dealing with customers on a day-to-day basisConsult service manuals, schematics, and technical guidelines to maintain accuracy and adherence to repair protocols.Performing scheduled maintenance and servicing tasks, including oil changes, fluid top-ups, and filter replacements.Disassembling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering systems, and other components to inspect and assess individual parts for wear or damage.Follow safety protocols and environmental standards when handling and disposing of hazardous materials and vehicle fluids.Test repaired systems and reassembled engines to confirm performance and compliance with safety and quality standards.Skills and Abilities: A minimum qualification of Certificate IV is required.An applicant must have relevant work experience.Driven and enthusiastic individual with strong determinationWork under minimum supervisionWork under pressure.Salary and Benefits: Competitive salary range of $70,000 to $80,000 per annum, plus superannuation.A supportive work environment with opportunities for professional development and career advancement.If you're a reliable and skilled Motor Mechanic looking for a rewarding opportunity within a customer-focused automotive team, we encourage you to apply.
