Motor Mechanic

Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Motor Mechanic to join our Service Team.
The ideal candidate will be working in East Brisbane, 4169 QLD reporting directly to the director of the company.
As a Motor Mechanic, you will be expected to have a good knowledge on vehicle diagnostic equipment and mechanical systems.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Diagnosis and Troubleshooting: Identifying mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and tests. Repairs and Maintenance: Performing repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other systems. This includes both minor repairs and major overhauls. Preventive Maintenance: Conducting regular maintenance services, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Parts Replacement: Ordering and installing replacement parts, ensuring they meet quality standards. Customer Service: Communicating with customers to explain issues, provide estimates, and discuss repair options. Record Keeping: Maintaining detailed records of repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles. Safety Compliance: Following safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Continual Learning: Staying updated with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques through training and certifications.
