We're on the lookout for an experienced Motor Mechanic to join our vibrant team at our 15 Perrin Place Salisbury QLD 4107 for a fantastic opportunity to live and work in a popular tourist town.

Engine and System Overhaul: Disassemble and inspect engine systems, transmissions, and steering components for damage, performing necessary repairs or replacements.
Part Replacement and Repair: Repair or replace worn-out components, such as gaskets and bearings, while adhering to technical manuals for accuracy.
Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular servicing tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and engine tuning, ensuring vehicles operate efficiently and meet environmental standards.
Component Reassembly: Reassemble vehicles after repairs, ensuring the correct placement of parts for optimal vehicle performance.
System Testing and Calibration: Test mechanical components post-repair to ensure proper functionality, making any adjustments as required.
Diagnostic Computer Tools: Perform computer-assisted diagnostics to test and identify faults in engines and other electrical systems.
Roadworthy Certification (optional): Carry out vehicle inspections to assess roadworthiness and issue certificates, or provide recommendations for necessary repairs.
Breakdown Assistance (optional): Respond to urgent vehicle breakdown calls and provide repairs or towing services as needed.
Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience: Minimum Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology Current C Class Driver's License Ability to work full time Proven experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles Minimum past experience of one year as a Motor Mechanic Must have own Hand Tools Excellent mechanical aptitude Honest, Hardworking & Reliable Sound Automotive knowledge Brisbane Transport Pty Ltd is an equal opportunity employer providing a discrimination free workplace.
