Motor Claims Consultant

MAYDAY Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Motor Claims Consultant to join a leader in claims management and service delivery in Adelaide.
This role will manage end-to-end motor claims from initial contact through assessment, investigation, and settlement.

Main responsibilities include:
Guide brokers and stakeholders through the claims process, explaining requirements and steps. Assist clients in preparing necessary documents to support their claims. Facilitate effective communication to expedite the claims process. Provide prompt attention to all claims from initial contact to settlement. Investigate claims to assess their validity, gather evidence, and collaborate with involved parties. Negotiate with insurance companies to secure fair settlements for clients. Advocate for policyholders' rights to ensure they receive the benefits they are entitled to. Manage claim-related documentation and maintain accurate claim file notes. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth claim processes. Participate in projects to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.
The ideal candidate:
Strong knowledge of insurance policies, procedures, and regulations. Experience in property or motor end to end claims processes and customer service. Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Customer-focused mindset with the ability to handle complaints and difficult situations professionally. Familiarity with insurance laws and regulations. Proficiency in relevant software, data analysis, and Microsoft Office applications. Excellent decision-making and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders.
