We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Manager or Management Couple to take our newly improved motel to the next level.Qualifications & ExperienceProven experience in motel management and comprehensive knowledge of accommodation services, including RMS software.
The position is not suitable for applicants new to management in the hospitality industry.Minimum Certificate IV in Hospitality is preferred.Proficiency in IT is essential, particularly with Microsoft Office 365.Knowledge of revenue management principles and rate calculation.Must be a permanent resident of Australia with a valid C-Class Driver's License.Excellent time and people management skills and a strong work ethic.Ability to provide three professional references.Tasks & ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage all daily operations of the motel, ensuring rooms are clean, well presented and guest needs are met with exceptional service.Lead, motivate and work with a dedicated team, fostering a positive work environment.Manage customer enquiries and provide quality service, including management of after-hours requests.Enhance the motel's customer base and market presence through proactive marketing and engagement strategies.Perform various duties as needed including office administration, reception and housekeeping.Manage budgets and control operational costs to maximize efficiency.Recruit, train and roster housekeeping and maintenance staff.Onsite Accommodation: Enjoy a fully furnished, one-bedroom apartment with parking, utilities and Wi-Fi all included (no pets allowed).Competitive wage negotiable on contract rate or salary, based on applicant/s qualifications and experience.Work-Life Balance: flexible roster and working hours, allowing you to enjoy the world-class beaches and national parks which the Esperance region offers.Supportive Team Environment: Work alongside a reliable and positive team of receptionists, housekeeping and maintenance staff.No F&B Service: Focus on accommodation management as there is no guest meal or restaurant service onsite.Our motel is attracting satisfied, returning guests and corporate customers from positive relationship building and meeting customer needs.Support provided with handover period, wages and general accounts.
