About the role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Law Graduate or Junior Lawyer to join the newly established Building & Construction team in our Brisbane office. We act for principals, builders, contractors, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers across the entire life cycle of large construction projects throughout Australia.
Some of your duties will include: Assist in drafting contracts, correspondence and legal documents.Participate in client meetings and support project delivery.Support lawyers in case preparation, including evidence collation and document management in litigation.Summarising records.Legal research.You will receive mentoring from experienced construction lawyers and gain exposure to diverse front end and back end legal matters.
About you To be successful in this role, you will be a Law Graduate who is currently undertaking or about to undertake their practical legal training or a Junior Lawyer with 1 – 2 years' PAE, preferably in a construction firm.
