Are you a passionate Montessori educator looking to make a real impact? We're seeking an experienced Montessori Guide to lead our Early Starters program at our vibrant, community-focused Montessori Centre. As part of our dynamic team, your expertise will be valued, and you'll thrive in a collaborative, inspiring environment.
The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, along with a recognised 0-3 Montessori qualification. You'll shape the early development of children, setting them on a lifelong path of curiosity and learning.
Position Objective:
As a Montessori Guide, you will develop and deliver a high-quality Montessori educational program for children aged 18 months to 3 years. You'll provide educational leadership while working collaboratively with our team and engaging with parents to foster a nurturing learning environment.
Key Responsibilities: Design and implement a developmentally appropriate Montessori program in consultation with educators and parents. Maintain a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for all children. Supervise and support staff and volunteers, fostering a cooperative team culture. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and program updates. Lead the preparation and upkeep of the Montessori environment. Details: Start Date: Flexible, with the option to start this year with reduced hours or commence full-time on 16th January 2025 (Term 1 commences 20th January 2025) Hours: Full Time 8:00am – 4:00pm Days: Monday to Friday Award: Children's Services Award Please note that work during term holidays is required. Centre will close over Christmas break. Requirements: Recognised Montessori Qualification (0-3 years) – essential Relevant experience in a similar role Right to work in Australia Why Join Us?
