Modern Workplace Engineer Location: CBD
Work Hours: 8.5 hours/day, with 1 WFH day per fortnight
On-Call Rotation: 1 week every 6-7 weeks
Our client, a globally acclaimed leader in the mining sector, is seeking an experienced Modern Workplace Engineer with expertise in the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including email systems, Microsoft 365 applications (O365), Azure cloud services, and Windows platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem and will play a vital role in supporting the organization's migration to cloud solutions.
The client is looking for applicants with hands-on experience in key areas, including Endpoint Management, Print Services, Remote Desktop Services, Email, Microsoft Teams, Identity and Access Management, and Microsoft 365 Platform Management.
Key Responsibilities: Manage and optimize endpoint devices across diverse operating systems, including Windows 10/11, iOS, macOS, and Android, ensuring secure and efficient performance through tools like Microsoft Intune and SCCM.Oversee email systems and collaboration platforms, ensuring seamless communication and integration using Microsoft Exchange Online and Microsoft Teams.Support the deployment and management of remote desktop solutions, utilizing technologies such as VMware Horizon and Microsoft RDP to enhance user accessibility and productivity.Implement and maintain comprehensive identity and access management strategies, leveraging tools like Microsoft Entra ID and Okta to safeguard organizational data.Proactively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, utilizing endpoint management solutions and security tools to ensure uninterrupted operations.Qualifications: Proven experience as a Modern Workplace Engineer or in a similar IT role, with a strong focus on endpoint management and cloud solutions.In-depth understanding of Microsoft 365 applications and services, including experience with collaboration platforms and email security solutions.Familiarity with identity and access management practices, including directory services and multi-factor authentication (e.g., Duo MFA).Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach in a dynamic environment.Experience with print services and endpoint security tools (e.g., CrowdStrike) is highly desirable.To be considered for the role, click the 'apply' button or for more information about this and other opportunities please contact Emma Metzger on +617 3339 5618 or email ****** and quote the above job reference number.
