The Harold E Holt precinct in Exmouth WA supports three Mission Systems: Very Low Frequency (VLF) Communications, C-Band Radar and Space Surveillance Telescope. Each Mission System Supervisor provides leadership and direct supervision of a highly-skilled technical team providing operating, maintenance & repair services. The role requirements include team performance, KPI management, customer liaison, scheduling, and cost account management responsibility.
Key Responsibilities Ensuring contractual requirements of maintenance, system performance and KPI's are met.Develop Status, Operational and Defect Reports as per the maintenance contract.Control the scheduling and performance of all Preventive Maintenance & Corrective Maintenance activities.Supervise and manage all requisition functions to maintain adequate spares, tools, and materials.Act as delegate for the Mission Systems Manager.Skills, Experience and Qualifications Experience supervising a team consisting of various trade professions.Advanced knowledge of maintenance management with a technical/trade background.Certificate IV in Electronics, Communications or equivalent qualification.Certificate IV in Leadership, Management or equivalent qualification.Minimum of six years prior relevant experience.Previous experience and responsibility in executing improvement to processes, systems or products to enhance the performance of a job area.Successful candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 1 Security Clearance as needed.
