We are looking to recruit a permanent lawyer into our growing and highly successful Melbourne property team. We would like to hear from Lawyers with 2-3 years PQE. The role will be a combination of leasing, conveyancing, and general property work.
We are seeking candidates who are motivated, confident, enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and driven to add to our team of experienced lawyers and paralegals. You will join our award-winning team working with Partner Peter Mitchell and his team of highly accomplished lawyers and paralegals.
You will have a passion for property law. This role is an opportunity to be mentored and trained by one of our most respected and accomplished Partners and their highly competent team.
In this role, you will be part of a large and supportive team of high-performing lawyers and paralegals, with additional support from the legal support team. You will deal directly with our major clients daily to manage your own files.
Our Team MinterEllison's Melbourne Real Estate team is led by Partners Peter Mitchell, Carla Deluca, Anthony Poynton, and David Chin and provides comprehensive legal support to major institutional property investors, developers, landlords, tenants, retirement village operators, government agencies, contractors, and financiers on all facets of commercial, industrial, retail, and residential property including due diligence, acquisitions, disposals, development, leasing, and disputes. Our energetic and high-profile team is proud to be working on iconic projects shaping the Melbourne landscape now and into the future.
What you need We welcome applications from property lawyers with:
Experience in commercial property law, particularly focusing on landlord and tenant leasing of commercial, retail, and industrial real estates. An understanding of the retail tenancy and/or sale of land legislation. Strong drafting and organisational skills. Ability to follow process. Strong client focus and demonstrated ability to form enduring relationships with peers, clients, and industry experts. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, sharing files and clients. Desire to help lead and grow a successful and collaborative high-volume practice.
