As a site-based Mining Supervisor , you will be essential in planning, organizing, and overseeing daily operations. Reporting directly to the Mining Superintendent, you will lead, mentor, and guide a crew of 10-19 operators to achieve production targets safely and efficiently. These FIFO positions from Perth operate on a 2/1 roster with rotating day and night shifts , providing long-term stability on projects with a duration of 5+ years.
What You'll Do: Overseeing and managing our assets, including people, plant, and equipment, to achieve operational outcomes in safety, quality, performance, efficiency, and cost. Conducting regular site inspections and daily interactions with the workforce. Providing technical and practical support to operators. Ensuring team output and KPIs are on track, in line with Company objectives. Maintaining and fostering a working environment that prompts safety in all that we do, whilst also providing outstanding service. What You Bring to the Table: Minimum 5 years' experience working within a Mining / Production. Demonstrated 2 years' supervisory experience in an open pit environment. Hold a Section 44 and Statutory – Schedule 26 or working toward sitting the exam. Ability to identify continuous improvement initiatives. Strong focus on safety and fostering a zero-harm culture. A valid National Police Clearance (within 6 months). The ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical , including Drug and Alcohol Screen. Why Choose Carey Mining?
