About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Automotive Electrician on a Permanent Full-Time arrangement, based at our Atlas & Cooljarloo Mineral Sands Projects. This role will entail preventative and breakdown maintenance on our onsite mobile equipment.
This position will work closely with the onsite Maintenance team, whilst reporting directly to the Maintenance supervisor.
Responsibilities Utilising your organizational skills to ensure you are stocked with the required parts & tools to undertake work on site. Complete scheduled repairs and maintenance of mobile equipment in a safe and efficient manner using correct manual handling techniques. Perform diagnostics, problem solving, and fault finding accurately and in a timely manner. Strive for continuous improvement by identifying, interpreting and repair for reuse of any parts and accessories. Effectively work and communicate with other team members & clients on site to prioritise tasks and achieve deadlines. Able to work self-sufficiently, part of a team, autonomously, and conduct works in a professional manner. Ability to meet deadlines whilst maintaining a strong approach to safety. About You Australian Recognised Air-conditioning Repair Licence. Experience in repairing and maintaining machinery such as: CAT, Liebherr, Hitachi, Komatsu & John Deere mining equipment. Current experience in a mining or civil engineering environment, working on large scale equipment. Demonstrated ability to diagnose faults & perform maintenance on a range of machines. Ability to read and interpret complex plans and diagrams. Display a clear commitment and focus on the health, safety and well-being of employees. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence. Willingness to undertake a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug / Alcohol Screen. About the Offer 9:5 or 7:7 Roster Days Only - 12 Hour Shifts.
