Reporting to the Mining Superintendent, our Eliwana operations are seeking a suitably qualified, highly experienced Mining Coordinator. These positions will be responsible for the management and coordination of plant and human resources to meet or exceed the mine plan in a safe and efficient manner.

Key ResponsibilitiesProvide input into mine planning processes to ensure practicality of mining plansProvide visible Fortescue Values leadership (lead by example) modelling and compliance with Fortescue Code of Conduct behavioursProvide and maintain safe systems of work in mining operational areasConduct thorough investigations into workplace incidents and provide effective feedback to work teamsCoach, mentor and develop Mining SupervisorsManage short interval control process to drive Supervisor compliance to the mine planEnsure compliance with HR management policies and procedures (leave, injury management, performance, etc.)Qualifications and ExperienceWA Class HR Driver's Licence3 years supervision in large scale mining environmentWork closely with the planning team to develop and deliver to 24-hour and 2-week mine plansSupport the mining supervisor in optimising/executing the plan.Strong communication and interpersonal skillsProficient skills in Microsoft Office suite, SAP, BMS or similar data and reporting systemsKnowledge of Mine Safety & Inspection and OHS Act/RegsUnrestricted Quarry Manager's Ticket (desired not essential)Our CommitmentFortescue is deeply committed to providing a safe culture that builds respect, fosters inclusiveness, and values diversity.
