Mineral Resource Manager / Geology ManagerGlobe 24-7, in partnership with our client - a leading Global Tier 1 mining company - has an opportunity for the Mineral Resource Manager / Geology Manager to join a large mining operation based overseas. This is an expat FIFO role from any Australian point of hire; and is a role that has high level visibility at the executive level.
The Role
The primary purpose of the Mineral Resource Manager / Geology Manager is to ensure the smooth running of all facets of geology across a large operation. The operation is a multi-billion dollar endeavour, and is currently at the operations phase.
The Requirements
The successful candidate will have tertiary qualifications in geology / mineral exploration / mining geology, and may have held a previous statutory role on another sizable operation, as Competent Person / Qualified Person. We are seeking strong underground experience, although some open pit experience may also be beneficial. We are specifically targeting candidates with somewhere in the order of fifteen to twenty years' career experience; and it is important you are able to commit to rotational work of 3 weeks on, 2 weeks off.
