Who You Are Our team is seeking an experienced and creative YouTube Video Editor. You will be responsible for creating engaging and intriguing short-form 15-60 second vertical videos that keep our audience hooked; with content that is relevant and up to date with the latest trends in the Minecraft and broader social media and pop culture community.
Your Responsibilities and Skills Understanding what keeps the Eystreem/Firelight Audience engaged and intrigued (Keeping viewers "Hooked") Ability to mimic existing editing styles, such as those in the Eystreem/Firelight content. Understanding Cuts, Flow and Variation in Tempo (Leaving no "Dead Space" & Being aware of the "Pace") Having a Creative outlook (Keeping up to date with the Minecraft Community & Trends in social media and pop culture) Understanding and utilising Music ("BPM" & When to use different genres & Transitioning) Understanding and utilising SFX effectively (When, Where & What to add) Understanding and utilising VFX effectively (Keyframing, Color grading, Ingesting footage etc.) Requirements: At least 2+ years of experience in video editing. Experience and understanding in YouTube Analytics and key metrics (AVD, CTR, Impressions, etc) Experience using SFX and VFX. Great communication and activeness. Experience in Premiere Pro. Ability to meet and understand deadlines. Ability to understand feedback and act on it. Knowledge and understanding of Minecraft, social media and pop-culture trends.
