Due to a recent internal promotion we have a new opening for a Mine Planning Engineer to join our Underground Mining team at Tropicana Gold Mine. Reporting to the Underground Mine Planning Superintendent, this role is responsible for the delivery of mine plans and schedules in a safe and efficient manner, utilizing industry best practice.
This position is offered on an 8/6 FIFO roster, with a quick flight directly to site from Perth and/or Kalgoorlie.
Accountabilities: Be an active safety leader in line with the company's values, policies and procedures Produce accurate and clear development memo register for approval by short term Planning Engineer Designing stopes as well as stope notes preparation Developing Weekly plans and schedules, ensuring compliance to 3MS priorities Ensuring any risks to the plan are adequately communicated to all stakeholders. Providing guidance for drill and blast, and ventilation plans About You People are at the heart of everything we do.
