Based in the beautiful, pristine northern region of Tasmania, an opportunity is available for a Mine Operator to join the team at our Railton site. Reporting to the Mine Team Leader, the role's primary function is to operate heavy mobile equipment to ensure the daily supply of raw materials to the crusher. About the role: The Mine Operator position is a multi-skilled operator role utilising varied pieces of mobile equipment. The role is permanent full time, working Monday – Thursday (6am - 4pm) with overtime opportunities available Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Mine operators are covered by the Railton Plant and Devonport Terminal Operations Enterprise Agreement About you: Minimum of 2 years experience working in the Mining industry Previous experience operating mechanical drive haul trucks Current Manual Licence Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team A strong commitment to working safely Why work for Cement Australia?
