The Role Due to an increase in workflow, our Government & Commercial Disputes team is expanding. We are recruiting for a number of casual Paralegals based in either Adelaide or Darwin to assist in managing high-volume discovery and document review projects.
Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
High volume discovery: Assist in managing and organising large volumes of documents and electronic data for discovery purposes. Document review: Conduct thorough and accurate reviews of documents. Database management: Utilise legal document review platforms and databases to track and manage discovery materials effectively. Case preparation: Support lawyers in case preparation by organising evidence and summarising documents. Administrative support: Perform administrative tasks related to case management, including filing, indexing, and organising case files. Who We Are Looking For The ideal candidate will be a Law Student or have some experience as a paralegal. Litigation experience and experience using Nuix Discover will be highly regarded. You must be available to start as soon as possible and be able to work at least 3 days per week. You will have strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively. The role requires you to work independently but also within a team environment, and therefore the ideal candidate must demonstrate strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
