Mildura Base Public Hospital (MBPH) is a responsive regional health service providing a patient centred approach to care when members of our community are at their most vulnerable, and we do this through a workforce of around 1100 employees who provide care 24/7 to a catchment area of 80,000 community members.
Mental Health Services, forming part of Mildura Base Hospital, offers a range of inpatient and community-based services for people with mental illness in the Northern Mallee Region.

The role
The Manager Adult Recovery and Wellbeing Services reports to the Director of Recovery and Wellbeing Services and holds operational accountability for Adult Recovery and Wellbeing Services.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Professionally recognised Tertiary qualification in Nursing, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or Psychology, as well as relevant professional registration Demonstrated operational management skills within a relevant healthcare setting Specialised knowledge and/or experience of mental health service provision for adults and their families and carers Willingness to support and sustain health system changes – including participation in the design and implementation of new models of care with multidisciplinary teams and lived experience workforce Relocation assistance
Up to $15,000 incentive payment applies to eligible candidates.

The Victorian Government has allocated funds to support rural and regional Area Mental Health Services (AMHS) to provide incentives to attract workers to roles that are difficult to fill.
The new workforce relocation and incentive grants program is being administered by Rural Agency Workforce Victoria (RWAV).
