Nintirri has an exciting opportunity for a Community Midwife and Registered Nurse to join the Community Health and Wellbeing Team in a full time capacity. Reporting directly to the CEO, this coordinator position requires the successful candidate to oversee the small health team consisting of midwives, nurses and community support workers. Specifically, the role entails: Antenatal and postnatal care Community nursing care on country Primary health care to Tom Price, Paraburdoo and surrounding communities Coordination of health promotion activities and events Liaise and coordinate outreach services and programs Organise travel and accommodation for FIFO staff and external service providers Meeting with, sourcing and sustaining funding bodies Accurate record keeping for reporting purposes Facilitate team meeting and participate in organisational meetings Sexual health screening and assessment (if qualified) Minimum Requirements: Current Division 1 Registered Midwife registration Current Division 1 Registered Nurse registration Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain) Current Criminal Record Screening (or willing to obtain) Current Drivers License Cultural Awareness and understanding Ability to work in team environment Competency and reliability to work autonomously Sexual Health and cervical screening qualifications Experience in Primary health care Experience working with Indigenous communities or populations Your application will include the following questions: Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
