Due to internal staff movements, our Durack clinic is on the look-out for our new Team Leader to oversee our team of 5 Occupational Therapists. This role would ideally suit an individual who is perhaps already working as a Senior OT and is looking to grow into a team leader. Use your experience to help mentor and grow our team.

Occupational Therapist Team Leader As the Occupational Therapist Team Lead, you will be responsible for the success of your own caseload as well as eventually leading and mentoring a team of Occupational Therapists.
Your purpose of the role is to ensure exceptional outcomes for our young clients in a well-supported team environment. Drawing on your allied health experience you will be a proactive, solution-focused, professional and dedicated to bringing the best for your clients, families, staff and the organisation.
Your key responsibilities will include: Day to day overseeing of a leading and innovative team. Apply and extend your extensive clinical knowledge through professional development with staff. Ensure high level professionalism and ethical conduct. Partner with clients throughout their "Therapy Journey", our stepped-out pathway to exceptional outcomes. Be a part of our partnership with IAHA, supporting the next generation of Indigenous allied health professionals and allied health assistants. About you You are naturally driven! A person who thrives on seeing others succeed. Approachable and empathetic towards those we assist. You have a love for working with children and extensive experience in early intervention in either private or public. You have grown over the years in your clinical experience and are currently working as an OT / Senior OT who is wanting to take the next step into a Team Leader role whilst still drawing on your clinical experience. You must be an excellent communicator with the ability to engage with our indigenous community. You love what you do, and this shows in your ability to engage and build relationships.
