Promote midwives within the multidisciplinary team as valuable experts contributing to positive outcomes for women and their families and promote an environment that encourages both individual and team development.
Demonstrate commitment to ongoing professional development by maintaining competence in mandatory education and skills development for self and others.
This includes leading, participating and supporting others active involvement in continuing education and in collaboration with CMMs, actively participate in completing, monitoring and reporting on midwifery staff performance requirements.
Undertake other duties appropriate to this level of classification which contribute to the operation of the organisation.
Monitor the quality of Patient files, progress notes and observation charts Experience & skills: Current AHPRA registration Relevant Tertiary Midwifery qualifications or post graduate qualification.
Adaptability and flexibility to accommodate change and provide responsive services to the needs of the Maternity Unit.
