The Opportunity: Talis' Environment Section has considerable experience in dealing with a range of investigations including contaminated sites, acid sulfate soils, geochemistry, geology, and hydrogeology.
We require the services of an experienced mid-senior level consultant to join our West Australian team.
About you: Solid experience as an Environmental Consultant or a similar role; Excellent technical capacity; Solid experience in project and consultant management; Good relationships with key Government stakeholders; Expertise in coordinating/completing complex technical investigations, assessments, records, and written reports; Solid or extensive experience in conducting contaminated sites/hydrogeological/acid sulfate soils/geotechnical investigations; Ability to manage and maintain key client relationships; Demonstrated experience in presenting at industry forums; Experience and understanding of contemporary remedial techniques associated with contaminated sites; Strong understanding of the legal framework associated with contaminated sites and other investigations; Demonstrated skills in Source/Pathway/Receptor modelling; A strong grasp of technical problem solving, with the ability to succinctly develop scopes of work to appropriately solve problems; Ability to develop solutions that account for uncertainty and risk; Strong communication skills; formal and informal, verbal and written; Permanent Australian residency.
