The Opportunity: Embark on an exciting 6-month contract opportunity as a Java Developer, based in Melbourne CBD with a flexible work arrangement of 3 days per week.Join a dynamic team where your expertise in Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and DevOps will drive the development of innovative microservices-based applications.The Role: Serve as a Java Developer, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications within a microservices architecture.Utilize your skills in Java and Spring Boot to build scalable and efficient backend services.Implement and manage cloud-based solutions on the AWS platform.Apply your DevOps knowledge to automate, monitor, and enhance the software development lifecycle.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver projects on time.Ensure code quality through regular code reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices.Continuously improve and optimize existing applications to enhance performance and reliability.About You: Proven experience as a Java Developer with strong skills in Java, Spring Boot, and AWS.Solid understanding of microservices architecture and best practices.Experience with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.Familiarity with agile development methodologies and practices.Flexibility to be based in Melbourne CBD 3 days per week.This 6-month contract offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge software solutions in a collaborative and innovative environment.
