Well-known and recognized pharmaceutical company who is currently undergoing substantial growth Seeking a microbiologist to join on a 12-month fixed term contract Full time, standard working hours This role would be suitable for a switched-on Microbiology graduate who is keen to develop their skills in the laboratory within a GMP environment
Duties
Reporting through to the Quality Systems Manager, this position will involve all routine QC testing & analysis of samples. Your duties may include but are not limited to:
Raw material and packaging testing Media preparation and aseptic microbiological testing Maintain and calibrate Laboratory equipment Environmental monitoring Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment Out-of-specification investigations
About You
Bachelor of Science majoring in Microbiology or a closely related discipline Understanding of aseptic technique and membrane filtration Previous experience in pour plate method, streaking and bacterial identification Quality-focused with excellent attention to detail Ability to work well in a team or independently
