Job Description Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting Prepare, analyse, and report monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and cost control recommendations Support budgeting and forecasting processes to aid strategic decision-making. Ensure accurate reconciliation of customer and supplier accounts and resolve discrepancies Oversee inventory valuation and stock reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure proper capitalization and depreciation schedules Provide support with payroll processing, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and agreements Prepare and submit BAS, PAYG, FBT, GST, and other statutory returns as required The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum of 1-3 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably with exposure to multiple areas such as AP, AR, payroll, and tax Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP and advanced Excel skills Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills What's on Offer Opportunity to work in a collaborative and innovative team environment.
