Over the coming decade we will expand T1 International, and build new domestic terminal facilities, a parallel runway, two multi-storey carparks and our first airport hotel. Our team are currently looking for an experienced Metering Engineer to join our expanding team.
What you'll do:Provide technical expertise to support the safe, reliable, and continuous 24/7 operation of PAPL's metering and SCADA systems.Maintain and enhance system architecture, integrating SCADA, the 22kV Embedded Network, and airport operations for optimal reliability.Drive continuous improvement in technology deployment aligned with PAPL's energy and sustainability strategies.Oversee tenant connections and registry management, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.Develop and maintain policies and standards for system management that align with commercial, regulatory, and sustainability goals.Support financial, sustainability, and corporate reporting with accurate metering and operational data.Manage contracts and performance of external service providers to ensure reliable system operation.Engage stakeholders with regular system performance updates and collaborative issue resolution.About YouBachelor's degree or equivalent in power engineering, with 5+ years in metering for utilities or energy infrastructure.Strong experience with HV/LV utility metering, system architecture, and renewable energy integrations.Skilled in developing technical policies and optimizing metering systems, with experience in protocols like Modbus, IEC104, and DNP3.Experienced in lifecycle asset management planning, budgeting, and financial reporting.Strategic, proactive problem-solver with the ability to anticipate and address complex challenges.Strong team player and effective communicator, skilled in building trust and negotiating solutions with stakeholders.About Us:We offer a dynamic and supportive team culture, a contemporary workplace with great facilities and a modern approach to work/life integration.
