We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Metal Machinist to join our team.
In this role, you will focus on producing high-quality, precision metal parts by setting up and operating a variety of machine tools.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of machining principles, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC and manual lathes, mills, and other machinery to fabricate metal components.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements.
Monitor machining processes and make adjustments to ensure precision and quality.
Perform quality checks on finished parts using precision measuring tools.
Conduct routine maintenance on machines and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot issues and enhance machining processes.
Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
Qualifications: Proven experience as a Metal Machinist in a manufacturing or production setting.
Proficiency in CNC and manual machining.
Strong knowledge of machining tools, materials, and cutting methods.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 kg.
Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks.
Preferred: Certification in machining or a related field.
Experience with CAD/CAM software.
