Metal Fabricator

Our client is a large fabricating company and is looking to employ Metal Fabricators to repair and fabricate various products. You will be required to fabricate structural steel and other metal to make and repair products. To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following:AQF Cert III including at least 2 years of relevant experience OR at least 3 years of relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications. Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine job requirementsSelect, clean, and prepare metal stockCut marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machinesShape and bend metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools, and by heating and hammeringAlign parts to be joined using hand toolsJoin metal sections using various welding techniques, bolting, and rivetingExamine welds for width of bead, penetration, and precisionFinish products by cleaning in acidic solutionsClean and smooth welds by filing, chiseling, and grindingAble to work efficiently on your own or within a team environmentIf you meet the above criteria and you're interested in contributing to an organization thatvalues the highest level of quality in everything it sets out to achieve, we want to hear fromyou!Simply complete the application process by clicking the Apply Now button and we'll be intouch.Please note only successful candidates will be contacted.
