About the opportunity The Allied Health department provides services to our inpatient and community programs. The team consists of physiotherapists, OTs, Dietitian, Speech Pathologist, Social Workers and Allied Health Assistants. This position requires an allied health assistant to work as part of the multidisciplinary team within Mercy Health which provides an Allied Health Service to the older person in our community transitional aged care program.
Minimum Requirements: Essential - Certificate IV in AHA and full drivers licence. Assist in providing goal orientated programs to older persons as directed by supervising allied health professionals. Work as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team. What you'll bring: Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve. A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management. The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment. You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
