About You: To be successful, you will have:

A strong technical background along with experience within pricing and margin management and sales target achievement through effective category development. Relevant agricultural industry knowledge, and warehouse management experience. The ability to network and identify opportunities for business development. Strong interpersonal skills to foster solid long-term relationships with customers and key internal stakeholders. Excellent communication both written and verbal. Exposure to SAP ERP, together with strong MS Excel for reporting. A full drivers' licence; forklift and truck licence are advantageous but not essential. We are currently offering a great opportunity for an experienced Merchandise Manager to join our team in Bourke. This critical role in the merchandise team requires you to build long-lasting partnerships with customers and deliver appropriate advice and services using your specialist knowledge of a variety of agricultural products and supplies.

Bourke is known for its primarily livestock farming geography. This role would be well suited for someone with strong business acumen, looking to step into a leadership role or an individual with a background in leading a team and managing sales performance.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for:

The sales of rural merchandise, such as Agricultural chemicals, Seed, Animal health, Animal Management, and General Merchandise. The associated management of this inventory including forecasting and planning, procurement and ordering, sales processing, logistics, stock controls and stocktakes. Working closely with management, agronomists, procurement and other team members to fulfil the needs and requirements of our clients and customers in a proactive and professional capacity. The management of the regional storage warehouse facility and associated logistics. Working alongside supplier representatives to deliver value and solutions to our clients and customers, implementing marketing initiatives, with the aim of growing our business. Analysing market trends, climatic and seasonal considerations to ensure Nutrien Ag Solutions is the first choice for service, advice and solutions. GROW WITH US. FEED THE FUTURE.
