Join the team Kmart Group is looking for a merchandise professional with experience in bothbuying operations and digital transformation. This newly created role forms part of a frontier team to leverage world leading technologies across product management, Ai, & 3D design to optimise Kmart Groups E2E digital product development ecosystem.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in apparel merchandise buying practices (Kmart experience would be looked upon favourably) together with experience working in either project management or technology delivery as a digital product owner or similar. Applicants without technology backgrounds are still encouraged to apply. This role requires forward thinkers with a desire to innovate & drive process efficiencies across digital platforms. A key aspect of the role is a proven ability in complex problem solving and prioritisation of competing workloads across large scale digital transformation projects.
What you'll be doing As a Merchandise – Digital Manager working for Kmartyou will:
Identify & prioritise business requirements to delivery of continuous improvement across digital systems. Build and manage release testing and validation frameworks prior to product/item release. Development of implementation and adoption plan framework of digital processes. Define value gain of new digital processes and system configuration efficiencies. Development and execution of change management & communications plans. Review BAU use-cases to identify opportunities to increase benefit potential. Ensure business alignment of process improvements & intended outcomes and impacts. Work with Merch CI Analyst to develop metrics for measurable process quantification/optimisation. Drive continuous improvement of processes, improve commercial and/or user experience. Collaborate with product technology teams & external tech vendors to prioritise optimisation efforts. Effectively build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and results-based outcomes. To be successful in this role you'll have: Apparel Buyer, Business Management, Product Management, or experience in related field. Strong working knowledge and experience of merchandise product development to sourcing processes & systems. Digital transformation and/or technology delivery experience will be considered highly. Product Development & Sourcing software applications and platforms. (PLM software's, digital design applications - Adobe/3D, full stack systems). Strong proficiency using project management software, Jira, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Teams. A strong stakeholder collaboration & communications capability that can influence key stakeholders. Ability to drive change management across large scale enterprise teams. Highly organised with an ability to multitask and manage high volume workload. Demonstrated ability to work to deadlines with sense of urgency.
