Contract Manager – Newcastle, NSW COMMERCIAL CLEANING CONTRACTS

The successful candidate will be:
Energetic A confident and accomplished Contract Manager with a proven track record in managing people.
Capable of leading and developing a team, enhancing operational disciplines, thinking tactically and strategically, and managing multiple stakeholders.
Ideally, currently residing in Newcastle.
Skills/Experience Required:
Previous experience in a service-based industry working with medium to large corporate clients across multi-site environments.
Capacity to understand and relate to clients across a range of industries and appreciate the different business models, needs, and sensitivities involved.
Ability to develop credibility with clients by demonstrating professionalism, discretion, and sound commercial acumen.
A key deliverable is ensuring compliance with contractual requirements for service delivery, timeliness, and reporting.
Effective engagement with internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication and coordination of activities critical to business objectives.
Willingness to undergo and successfully complete a Police Check, Random Drug and Alcohol testing, and potentially a Working with Children Check as a condition of employment.
What will you be doing?

Conducting Quality Service inspections and audits as scheduled and responding to weaknesses identified.
Identifying contracts "under risk" as projects and developing clearly defined objectives and action plans to prevent contract loss.
Assisting in key client liaison to ensure smooth transition of operational/functional changes attributed to permanent productivity improvements.
Mobilizing the start-up of new contracts and providing support to the wider team.
Identifying the client's decision-making process.
Using foresight to identify potential client issues and resolving them before they escalate.
Regular face-to-face contact with client representatives.
Ensuring effective and timely communication within the business and with the customer and other key stakeholders.
Timely reporting to Administration for work order progress status and close-out recording.
