We have an exciting opportunity for a Mentor who will provide on-the-ground and on-site practical mentoring to all Bama staff. The position will involve, but will not be limited to:
Engage with Bama staff in a way which builds trust and encourages the staff to seek mentoring assistance or guidance from the Mentor and Support & Wellbeing Program. A positive and motivated attitude and a professional approach to working as part of a team. Flexibility and readiness to provide assistance when required. Collaborate with the Bama Management Team to provide a safe, healthy, inclusive and supportive workplace culture. The provision of support, mentoring and guidance to staff with regard to any professional or personal challenges they are experiencing. Working with staff to stay motivated and consistently perform to the best of their abilities. The provision of mentoring and engaging support to Supervisors and Managers. Other duties as reasonably requested from time to time. Qualifications and experience Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or relevant professional experience in mentoring; Demonstrated experience in the development, implementation and evaluation of innovative and contemporary wellbeing strategies and initiatives; Demonstrated ability to liaise, advise and negotiate effectively with key stakeholders including management, staff and external agencies on staff wellbeing issues; Ability to work independently and contribute towards the achievement of Bama vision, mission and commitments; Strong problem solving skills; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; A positive and motivated attitude and a professional approach to working as part of a team; Ability to network and develop relationships with organisations that will assist to provide necessary support to the Bama employees; Possess a Working with Children Blue Card, successfully complete a Police Check and proof of COVID-19 vaccinations; Current C Class Driver License; CPCCOHS1001A Work safely in the construction industry; Any other duties within the employees' experience that the company may request to be performed; Administration and time management skills, the ability to problem solve and strong stakeholder management skills will also be of benefit.
