Location: Wimborne Minster
Pay: from £13.70 to £19.89 depending on shift and role
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Mental Health Support Workers to join our team. In this role, you will provide vital support to children and adults experiencing mental health challenges, helping them navigate daily life with dignity and independence. What You'll Do Your role will involve delivering both clinical and social care, customised to the specific needs of each individual. Your responsibilities will include:
Personal Care and Support:Assisting clients with daily tasks, ensuring their comfort and well-beingChallenging Behaviour Support:Managing and responding to challenging behaviours with empathy and professionalismCrisis Intervention:Providing critical support during times of crisis, helping clients navigate difficult momentsPromoting Independence:Empowering clients to live as independently as possible, building their confidence and skillsMedication Support:Ensuring that clients receive their medication safely and on timeSpecialist Clinical Care:Addressing complex clinical needs with expertise and compassionWith the support of our dedicated regional teams and innovative technology, you will make a significant difference in your clients' lives every day. We provide specialist clinical training and ongoing support to help you grow your career in the direction you choose.
What We're Looking For To excel in this role, you should have:
A minimum of 6 months of professional care experience or experience caring for a loved one in the UKThe ability to comfortably assist clients with limited mobilityThe right to work in the UKPrior experience working with clients who have mental health challenges (preferred, but not essential as full training is provided)A valid driver's licence and reliable access to a personal vehicleWhy Join Newcross Healthcare?
