We work with the following local health districts in NSW, helping them recruit experienced Mental Health Nurses: Hunter New England Local Health District (HNELHD): Located in New South Wales, HNELHD provides healthcare services across urban, regional, and rural areas. It covers diverse communities, including Newcastle, the Hunter Valley, and New England. This district is known for its high-quality healthcare facilities, innovation in clinical care, and offers a balance of coastal and inland living. Sydney Local Health District (SLHD): SLHD serves inner Sydney and includes major hospitals such as Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Concord Hospital. It is known for advanced medical research, teaching, and complex care services. With its central location, SLHD offers nurses the opportunity to work in a bustling metropolitan area with a mix of specialist healthcare services. South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD): SESLHD covers a large portion of southeastern Sydney, including suburbs like Randwick, Sutherland, and the Illawarra. It includes major hospitals such as Prince of Wales Hospital and St George Hospital. This district offers a vibrant and diverse work environment, with access to cutting-edge healthcare services and coastal lifestyle opportunities. Southern New South Wales Local Health District (SNSWLHD): SNSWLHD encompasses a vast region extending from the outskirts of Canberra to the southern coastline, covering towns such as Goulburn, Bega, and Cooma. This area includes prominent facilities like Goulburn Base Hospital and South East Regional Hospital. Known for its stunning natural landscapes, SNSWLHD offers a blend of regional and coastal settings, ideal for those seeking a balance between a supportive, community-focused healthcare environment and a relaxed lifestyle surrounded by nature. Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for these roles, you must:

Be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with relevant qualifications Have at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in mental health (TSS 482) 3 years' experience required for PR 186 visa option 1 year experience may be accepted for Working Holiday Visa candidates Hold or be eligible for AHPRA registration (our team can guide you through this process) Be eligible for visa sponsorship (if applicable) Next Steps – Join Us in Australia!
