About the Role:
As a Mental Health Clinician in the Infant, Child, and Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Service, you'll play a vital role in providing evidence-based care to young people aged 12-25 and their families. Working closely with local health providers and community services, you'll deliver direct support, consultation, and education within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
What You'll Do: Coordinate tailored care for a caseload of young clients, focusing on individual treatment, care, and support needs.Work with healthcare providers like GPs, allied health professionals, and Headspace to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.Offer specialized assessment and intervention services, including psychoeducation and risk management.Provide primary and secondary consultations, supporting community-based partners in delivering informed care.What You Bring: Tertiary qualifications in Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, or Psychology with relevant AHPRA or AASW registration.Experience in mental health services, including triage, crisis management, and trauma-informed care.Strong interpersonal and written communication skills to engage and advocate for young clients effectively.A flexible, team-oriented approach with the ability to adapt to changing environments and client needs.Why Choose Hamilton?
