Site and Service: Community Mental Health Team The Community Mental Health Teams are located at both Port Augusta and Whyalla, providing specialised one-to-one counselling, group work, care coordination and health promotional activities to promote mental, emotional, physical, and social health and wellbeing.
About the Role: As a Clinical Nurse (RN/M2C), you will deliver essential mental health nursing services across various settings, progressing from a competent to a proficient practitioner. You'll take accountability for your practice standards while mentoring less experienced staff. In addition to your clinical focus, you will also assume portfolio responsibilities that align with your career development goals.
The Registered Nurse (RN/M1) will be essential in delivering comprehensive, evidence-based, recovery-oriented mental health services, addressing the needs of consumers and the community.
The Allied Health Professionals (AHP1/2), apply their clinical experience and specialized knowledge to deliver a comprehensive range of services tailored to the needs of consumers, their careers, and families.
About you: RN/M2C Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.Must hold a relevant postgraduate qualification in Mental Health practice.RN/M1 Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.Be enrolled and/or willing to enrol in further postgraduate studies within Mental Health practice.AHP1/2 Must hold a recognised qualification within the respective profession and be eligible for registration in Australia.Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A (direct contact with blood or body substances) Applicant Information: The South Australian public sector promotes diversity and flexible ways of working including part-time.
