An exciting fixed-term opportunity awaits a qualified Mental Health Clinician to join Southwest Healthcare's HOPE program. This program provides specialised support for individuals aged 16+ referred after a suicide attempt or experiencing acute suicidal ideation. Over a three-month engagement, the team delivers tailored, evidence-based interventions addressing biological, psychological, and social needs.
About the Role
The HOPE program provides specialised mental health services to individuals aged 16 and over who have been referred following a suicide attempt or are experiencing acute suicidal ideation. Our team delivers tailored, evidence-based biological, psychological, and social interventions to support each individual's unique needs and goals over a three-month engagement period.
A proportion of work within the HOPE program will take place outside regular business hours, with shifts scheduled at least one month in advance.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mental Health Clinician with:
Demonstrated expertise in mental health clinical services within a multidisciplinary team model.Knowledge of recovery-oriented practices, trauma-informed care, and current trends, legislation, and policy directions in mental health services.Exceptional written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.Qualifications: Appropriate qualifications in Nursing, Psychology, Social Work, or Occupational Therapy.Registration with AHPRA, where required.Social Workers must be eligible for registration with AASW.What we offer You will enjoy benefits such as:
