Part-Time (0.8FTE) Maximum Term Contract until 31 October 2025 (Parental Leave Cover)Classification: Registered Nurse Level 2 with a salary range of $96,705 - $101,566 per annum (pro rata) + Superannuation or Health Professional Level 2 with a salary range of $91,706 - $102,613; per annum (pro rata) + SuperannuationSalary packaging arrangements providing tax benefits available for living and entertainment expenses increasing your take home income where part of your wage is paid tax free each pay, savings thousands in tax each yearGenerous above-award pay and entitlements (see details below)Remote or hybrid working arrangements are available for this positionAbout your new role The Mental Health Clinical Support Coordinator (MHCSC) will have a background in Social Work, Nursing, Occupational Therapy or Psychology.
As a MHCSC, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality mental health intake, assessment, triage, and referral services for individuals in the community who experience mental health issues and are seeking support.
The priority of the HtH IAR Service is to connect people seamlessly to the most appropriate local service to meet their identified needs, consistent with the 'stepped care' approach.
MHCSC will provide an initial identification and assessment of individuals' needs, as well as assist people requiring general information.
MHCSC will have responsibility for undertaking an assessment using the Commonwealth's Initial Assessment and Referral Decision Support Tool (IAR-DST) and supporting the non-clinical team to determine the level of clinical oversight, and key decisions required in matching people with the appropriate support service.
The Mental Health Clinical Coordinators will work as part of a collaborative team approach, supported by regular opportunities to reflect upon their practice and access comprehensive training and supervision.
