Membership Community Coordinator - Port Melbourne, hybrid role.
Our professional association is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Membership Community Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. This role involves planning and scheduling meetings, planning agendas, taking minutes, and keeping the database updated. The successful candidate will also be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships within the professional community.
Key Responsibilities:• Coordinate and schedule meetings for the professional association• Prepare and distribute agendas and materials for meetings• Attend all meetings and provide minutes via copilot• Maintain an up-to-date database of all members and their contact information• Respond to inquiries from members and potential members in a timely and professional manner (phone and email)• Work closely with the members and committees to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard• Create and maintain strong relationships within the professional community through regular communication and outreach campaigns• Assist with the development and implementation of strategies to increase membership and engagement• Provide regular reports on membership and engagement metrics
Qualifications and Experience:• 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a professional association or non-profit organisation• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with database management software• Knowledge of best practices in membership engagement and community building• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
