Our client, based in Newcastle West Co.
Limerick, is looking to hire an experienced Medical Secretary to join their expanding team on a contract basis initially.

The Role:
As a Medical Secretary/Administrator, you will have fantastic interpersonal and communication skills and possess awareness and sensitivity towards patient requirements.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience working in a similar role within a medical practice or hospital fast-paced environment and is looking for an opportunity to work in a wonderful team environment.

Responsibilities to include:
Ensuring all patients are dealt with in an efficient and professional manner.
Booking of appointments.
Dealing with correspondences from GPs.
Processing medical claim forms.
Maintaining patient records with confidentiality.
Preparing & processing medical documents & reports, including Dictaphone typing.
Your Skills/Experience that we need:
1-2+ years of experience in a similar role within a medical practice or hospital setting.
Fantastic interpersonal and communication skills with awareness and sensitivity towards patient requirements.
Strong IT and data processing skills with excellent typing skills are essential.
Polite and clear telephone manner.
Ability to work well as part of a team.
The Offer:
This position is a contract role paying €18.55 per hour, working 35 hours per week with 28 days of annual leave.

Hours of work:
Monday to Friday, 9 am - 5 pm.
