Althea has a strong focus on education, access, and management services to support eligible patients and Healthcare Professionals in navigating medicinal cannabis treatment pathways.Purpose of the RoleThis role is accountable for delivering sales results in your defined Australian state territory reporting into the Head of Sales. As a key role in the Althea growth strategy, you will be responsible for managing your own territory and driving growth of Althea's portfolio in alignment with Althea's commercial strategy through your own defined territory plan. The core customer base will include Primary Care, Specialists, pharmacies and medical cannabis clinics.You will have a hunger for commercial success, be competitive & driven and closely connected to the importance of improving patients lives through the appropriate and ethical prescribing of Althea products. It's critical that you be accountable for your territory sales performance and success, driven through the implementation of strategically aligned business plans in your territory.Key ResponsibilitiesBe accountable for delivering against your defined territory sales targets through your interactions with target accounts and customers.Manage a set territory and be accountable for delivering face to face interactions, meetings & virtual interactions against defined KPI's in alignment with your territory business plan.Build strong integral relationships with HCP's and accounts to ensure loyalty and commitment to the Althea brand that increases prescriptions and new patients.Proactively plan, search, and seek new business opportunities to drive growth in your territory.Be responsible for understanding and implementing the sales strategy in your territory in alignment with your territory business plan. Implement best practice HCP detailing, presenting, and selling process using product evidence, approved materials & competitor knowledge to strategically grow sales in line with set business objectives.Ensure expertise in the evidence, pharmacology and regulations of medicinal cannabis and commit to ongoing education and excellence as a leading expert in this new field of medicine.Demonstrate a high level of commercial and clinical savviness when interacting with HCP's.Be responsible for knowing the Medicines Australia 'Code of Conduct', regulations and PV requirements and ensuring all activities are carried out in an ethical and compliant manner.Provide market and competitor insights to support the Althea strategies and planning.Be a master of the Althea CRM & Sales reporting, committing to accuracy and timing data entry and territory business planning.Some regional and interstate travel may be required for the role.Skills and ExperienceMinimum 3 years of selling to HCP's, particularly in primary careDemonstrated exceptional HCP partnerships that ensure loyalty, respect, and collaborationEvidence based experience with pharmacology and medicines in a clinical sales environmentPassionate around commercial growth, competitive insights, and market dynamicsConsistent over performing sales and market growth in competitive environmentsThrives on owning ambitious sales targets and motivated to seek out innovative growth initiative and strategiesEfficient & timely territory management skills ensuring clear objectives & interaction planningExperienced & confident with IT, CRM, and Virtual detailingHealth Science Degree such as nursing, pharmacist, or science preferred
