Reporting to the Practice Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and proactive individual to join a growing team with career development opportunities. As a Medical Receptionist at Releaf Clinics, you will be the first point of contact for our patients.
You will be responsible for: Welcoming and engaging patients in person and over the phone Answering phone calls promptly and courteously Scheduling, confirming, rescheduling and cancelling patient appointments using Helix (Medical Director), or other software platforms according to doctor availability and patient preferences Providing information to new and current patients about our services, fees, policies, and procedures Taking messages and relaying them to the relevant staff member or doctor Updating patient records and accounts with accurate and current information Processing payments and billing over the phone or in clinic Handling phone inquiries or emergencies in a calm and professional manner Collaborating with other receptionists and staff members to ensure smooth operations and patient satisfaction To be successful in this role, you will need: At least one year of experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a sales focused role A strong work ethic, attention to detail and problem-solving skills The ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks and multitask effectively The ability to work well in a team and independently A willingness to learn and grow with the company Experience working with medical software, such as Medical Director Knowledge of Medicare, private health funds, and bulk billing procedures Australian Citizen / Australian Permanent Resident / Temporary Resident What We Offer: Competitive salary.
