We are a small group practice that provides psychological services for a wide spectrum of disorders, offering individual and group therapy to Children, Adolescents, and Adults.We are currently offering a very exciting opportunity for an experienced Administration Assistant to assist us to meet the growing demand for our services.
We are initially offering a casual part-time position, with the potential to develop into a part-time permanent position.We offer the successful applicant the opportunity to:Be part of a small and friendly teamEnjoy a professional, positive, and supportive work environmentJoin a fast-growing practice with the potential to increase days workedAccess long-term career opportunitiesEssential Criteria:Confident, mature, professional, and friendly mannerHard worker, fast learner, and ability to take directionAttention to detailAbility to work autonomously and manage multiple tasksHigh level of organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasksComputer literacy (Office, Excel, Word)Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)2-3 years of administration experience (experience in allied health would be considered highly favourable)Understanding of the importance of client confidentialityPassion for working with people who have mental health issuesGeneral Duties:Client filing and administrationBooking and confirming appointments and management of psychologists' diaryGreeting clients with warmth and confidenceLiaising with GP's and other service providersProfessional reports and letter writingReceive payments, create invoices, and follow up outstanding invoicesOutbound marketing correspondence and client database maintenanceGeneral office duties, stationary orders, office maintenance (light cleaning duties)Hours of Work:Must be available to work Tuesdays 12-8pm at Bankstown and Thursdays 10-6pm at Bankstown.
